SANDYREDD, a powerhouse singer, songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and entreprenuer, is a Chicago native performer taking the industry by storm. She left the entire world in shock and awe after wowing the celebrity judge panel on NBC's hit show "The Voice". Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton were all left fighting for a chance to coach this seasoned artist. However, SandyRedd's story begins long before her journey to "The Voice".

As she commands the stage with her captivating "Rock Soul" energy, her impeccable delivery, her soulful voice and her chameleon style passion-filled performances that soften even the hardest of hearts, its no wonder why she was nominated for R&B Entertainer of the Year and winner of Best Female Vocalist for the Chicago Music Awards. Her talents have taken her all over the world, from her hometown of Chicago, to featured performances on stages like Lollapallooza, and in places like Atlanta, New York, L.A, France and more, and even on National Broadway Tours across the globe. Opening for rap icons such as 50 Cent, MC Lyte, Souljah Boy and Twista, as well as R&B Legends like Miguel, Monica, Syleena Johnson, Chaka Khan, Kem, Angie Stone, Musiq Soulchild and more, has allowed her to win over audiences of many genres with ease. So, there is no secret as to why she was dubbed the "Leading Lady of Success" by Chicago's biggest radio station 107.5 WGCI & IHeart Radio, where she received an honorary award for her hard work and dedication in the field of music. Her passion for music was first introduced by her late Mother, Evangelist Margaret Owens-Bussie. She has worked tirelessly, not only to see that her mother’s selfless dedication and hard work is showcased through her, but that her mothers legacy is never forgotten.

Additionally, her extensive resume and her triple threat talents as a powerful singer, actress, dancer and well rounded performer transitioned her onto Broadway in the iconic 50th Anniversary National Broadway Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. And over a short period of time, SandyRedd proved yet again that she is truly a talent to watch. As she went from her starting roles as a Soul Girl and Ensemble member to making Broadway history as the first female to ever perform in the male dominated leading role of "Judas" in this production on the Broadway level, the road to this groundbreaking accomplishement was truly earned. With a plethra of notable breakout roles in countless Regional Theater productions, such as her lead role as Dorothy in the classic tale of “The Wiz”, which debuted at the world-renowned Arie Crown Theater Chicago, as well as the lead role of Tina Turner in the Ike & Tina review just to name a few, its no surprise that she is creating an undeniable national presence on this industry platform as well.

In addition, early on in her career, her acting quickly progressed into her television debut in the hit Movie “The Ideal Husband” starring Darrin Henson (Stomp the Yard), Ginuwine (National Recording Artist), Jackee Harry (Everybody Hates Chris), Clifton Powell (Friday) and Erica Hubbard (Akeelah and the Bee). From there, she made appearances on the hit Netflix series "Empire" as well as on major networks such as BET, FOX, NBC, TVOne, GMC TV and more. But it doesn't just stop there. SandyRedd is not only leaving her mark vocally and acting-wise, but has an undeniable lyrical talent to match. She has developed an extensive catalog with several notable Grammy Award Winning Producers, and has also landed placements of her own on Syleena Johnson’s "Chapter V UnderRated" album, as well as Avants "The VIII" album.

With so many notable accolades under her belt, SandyRedd continues to wow her city and the world. So it's no wonder that she was crowned winner of WGCI's "Next To Blow Out of Chicago" contest sponsored by IHeart Radio & Mountain Dew. But the story continues!

Her love for the arts was taken to another level in 2011 with the start of her non-for-profit passion project called "The Mama's Birds Youth Organization". The program, in honor of her late mother’s memory, has completed its 11th successful year run, is extended to the youth of her city, provides a safe haven of growth and creativity, and is set to expand across the globe. SandyRedd believes that her gifts are not just meant for mere entertainment. She believes that she is truly meant to use the power of music to make an impact on the lives of others. So she is certainly what the industry needs today, and continues to prove herself a force to be reckoned with. And with so much left to give and nowhere to go but up, she looks forward to changing the world through music, one stage at a time!
